The East Texas Treasure Hunters Association was founded by Jerry Evans in November of 1982. The club was formed for persons interested in recreational treasure, amateur archaeology and recovery of local historical artifacts.
In addition to club treasure hunting activities, member's service and expertise in recovering lost or concealed items are made available to local, historical societies and archaeologist.
The fiscal year of this organization is from January 1st to the end of December. Yearly membership dues are $25.00 per person (or $35 for husband & wife). Youth 17 or younger, with an adult member sponsor, are no charge.
The East Texas Treasure Hunters Association meets every month on the second Monday of the month. Meetings start at 6:30 PM and are held at the American Legion Building located at 305 American Legion Blvd, Longview, TX 75601. The meetings last until about 8:30 PM.
We welcome and encourage visitors to attend and join our active club! Feel free to show up unannounced and discover the benefits of becoming a member of our club! We have club outings, seeded club hunts, parties and lots of activities for the club members enjoyment and chances to win great prizes.
